For the same reason a Special *Chess Training Workshop* was held at DPS Ujjain. 

International Rated Player, National Arbiter and renowned chess coach Mr. Neeraj Singh Kushwah guided the students in a one hour power packed session which included Basics of Chess, Notations, tricks amd techniques and demo games.

He also stressed on benefits of playing chess: the most important of those is overall Brain development.

Chess is played with the mind and not with the hands. It promotes impaful thinking and patience. Children were mesmerized by the session and gained lot of knowledge about this game.
